Pedro Alsacia’s explorations of the St. Paul Mountain Range led to the discovery of three deep mountain spring sources (thermal fountains) that emerge from the ground at 69.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Many believed that the springs possessed curative powers. 31 stands for the degrees of the latitude where the spring is located. The St. Paul Springs are located in North Royal Granada, close to St. Paul, the most northern city.
